Become an official Sponsor of this year’s 20th Anniversary

Society for Conservation GIS (SCGIS) Annual Conference!

SCGIS is the premer international organization focused on the nexus of conservation and GIS. The SCGIS Annual Conference is the best opportunity to share information and network with many of the world's top conservation GIS professionals working across public and private sectors and academia. This year's conference provides an opportunity to reflect on important contributions over the past 20 years, but also to highlight critically important roles for conservation GIS in the years ahead. Please consider sponsoring this year’s 20th Anniversary SCGIS Conference!

To become a sponsor or learn more, please contact Janet Nackoney at jnackoney(at)gmail(dot)com.

3. Support an international scholar

Suggested donation: $1,000 for each scholar supported

Help support one or more International Scholar’s stay in the US! The International Scholar’s program provides for 6 weeks of training for International Scholars, including participation in both the Esri International User’s Conference and the SCGIS Annual Conference. Once scholarships are announced in early spring, you can see who they are and what they do by going to our website. To read about our 2016 International Scholars from last year’s Annual Conference, visit: www.conservationgis.org/scgis/2016/ScgIntl2016A.html.

This sponsorship affords one complimentary registration per $1,000 donation plus an in-person meeting with the Scholar, including a professional photo with the Scholar and a representative from your company that you can use for your own promotional materials. Your logo will be featured on a poster during coffee breaks. Your logo will be highlighted on our website and in our conference program as an International Scholar sponsor, and will also be included on email blasts that go out to potential conference attendees.

4. Donate directly toward general support for SCGIS or to its specific programs

SCGIS is an all-volunteer organization and 100% of all donations support our programs. You can support SCGIS by making a general donation in any amount, or you can earmark your donation for the Scholarship Program or Annual Conference. General donations support SCGIS operating costs and can be used to support students and non-Scholar international attendees through fee discounts and waivers to help them attend the SCGIS conference. Scholarship Program donations contribute to lodging, transportation, and food for our International Scholars. Annual Conference donations help defray programmatic costs of the SCGIS Annual Conference.

Thank you very much for your support!
