I have been involved in conservation project as biodiversity observant since 1998 in my undergraduate study periods. I focused to monitor Javan Hawk Eagle and Javan gibbon population on Mount Slamet, that was aimed to conserve the nature habitat sustainability. In 2002, I founded a local conservation community group named Biodiversity Society, a voluntary civil society group which has vision to conserve the mega-biodiversity of Indonesia. My works was concerning to conduct biodiversity census in Great Banyumas landscape, in Central Java. Currently, Biodiversity Society has been growing to be a central reference for local government of Banyumas Regency and also BKSDA (Government Conservation Agency) of Central Java Province in biodiversity richness census in our working area.
On 2010, I was selected to hold a position of Executive Officer of HarimauKita - The Sumatran Tiger Conservation Forum, a highly challenging position in a newly established organization, thus need a creative and highly motivated officer to built the capacity of the organization from basic. In the last three years my working position in HarimauKita, I focused to assist Chairman of Forum HarimauKita in promoting collaboration in Sumatran tiger conservation among stakeholders, developing and maintaining centralized database, conducting series of training for Ministry of Forestry (MoF) Staff, as well as members and volunteers, developing Forum HarimauKita volunteer network-TigerHeart and also lead and executing campaign activities.
