The SCGIS Silent and Live Auction is back this year to celebrate this year’s Global Scholars and raise funds for the SCGIS Global Scholarship Program.

The Global Scholarship Program supports conservationists around the world by providing advanced GIS training, unique networking opportunities, and mentorship to help them tackle environmental challenges in their home regions. To date, the SCGIS Global Scholarship Program has helped over 400 conservationists from more than 80 countries advance their skills and professional development. Learn more about the SCGIS Global Scholarship Program

Join us for an evening celebrating community, cultures, and conservation! Meet this year’s Global Scholars, bid on unique treasures from around the world you can’t find anywhere else, and show your support for the SCGIS Global Scholarship Program. More details, including the auction catalog and program, will be available closer to the event.

Donate an item or experience!

Past auctions have featured unique and culturally rich items and experiences from around the world. Ideas include artwork, pottery,  jewelry, photographs, specialty foods, gift certificates, travel opportunities, and more. Consider items from your own travels, handmade creations, or professional services. Create your own one-of-a-kind experience. Be creative!

Please submit your donation(s) using this brief, 5-minute donation form to help us plan and prepare a auction catalog.  We will accept donations up until the day of the event, but the sooner the better! No donation is too large, small, or unusual. All contributions are deeply appreciated.

We're looking for volunteers to help make this event a success!  There are many ways you can help, including event planning, editing item descriptions, marketing, supporting day-of logistics, photographing the auction event highlights, and more. Contact [email protected] if you're interested.

You can still support the SCGIS Global Scholarship Program! Make a monetary donation - every contribution, small or large, is appreciated. Or donate an auction item or experience and our Auction team will work with you on the logistics as needed.
